We are settled into the bed and breakfasts

This group of students and teachers was the calmest and easiest group yet to travel together to Ollantaytambo. There is an easy-going group personality that emerged in the pre-trip meetings.

We're ready to stop moving! Nick said it best as we stood together in Ollanta, "I feel like I'm in motion even though we've stopped." The overnight in Lima meant that we headed to our camas about 1:30 a.m. We were up at 8:30 a.m., and after a relaxed breakfast, back in the bus to make our flight to Cusco.

Seeing Adela, Randall and Javier was emotional for the kids returning for a second time, and many of the students remembered the three of them from their visit to SMA last April.

We have two warm and friendly bed and breakfasts. I'm sitting in the central gathering place now of one of them with indigenous tunes coming from the kitchen radio. The mountains rise on all sides of us with wispy clouds floating along the edges. The sun has arrived. There are flowers and green in every direction.

We are healthy, well fed and I'm sure much better rested. Wake up is 8:30 a.m. More photos will be posted soon.

We send our love and appreciation for your prayers.
